Podkraj is a village to the southeast of the Col in the Ajdovščina Municipality in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It also includes smaller clusters of settlements of Trševje, Sreboti and Hrušica as well as a number of isolated farmsteads along the Col to Kalce road.[2]
The Parish Church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Margaret and belongs to the Koper Diocese. A second church in the settlement, belonging to the same parish is dedicated to The Holy Spirit.[3]
